(Top left photo) The Northern Meadows Neighborhood Association Block party and neighborhood meeting was helding September 23,2007. A bounce house was offered for the young children.

(Top right photo) The Fire Department showed up to allow children of all ages an opportunity to see a fire engine first hand. Honorary firefighter Mary joined Pete Counseller, Nate Floyd, Troy Brya, Mark Koonter of the East Lansing fire department for this photo.

(Third row left photo) Officer Wing Lum of the East Lansing Police department dropped by to say hello. Many in East Lansing consider Officer Lum an unsung hero for several couragous acts as a police officer. This day's responsibilities was to register bicycles to help thwart bicycle theft.
